The Carpio Brothers are Hong Kong jazz musicians Bernard Carpio on saxophone and Chris Carpio on piano and keyboards. Performing together from an early age, they have developed a longstanding musical partnership through live performance, composition and collaboration.

Their repertoire spans straight-ahead jazz and groove-led jazz funk, with improvisation at the centre of their performances. Joined by a rhythm section, they explore the jazz repertoire through ensemble playing and musical interaction.

Bernard and Chris have performed at jazz clubs, concert halls and festivals across Asia. Alongside performing, they are also active as composers, arrangers and educators.

Years of performing together continue to shape their approach, bringing together swing, groove and improvisation in performances that evolve through the interaction of the musicians.
