Led by Italian drummer and composer Simone Prattico, the trio brings together pianist Daniel Gassin and Brazilian percussionist Acelino de Paula in a contemporary jazz language shaped by international performance careers and deep-rooted rhythmic traditions. Prattico’s career has taken him from Rome to Paris and New York, establishing him as a sought-after drummer across jazz, Brazilian, and global groove contexts. Recognised internationally for his versatility and hybrid rhythmic approach, he has performed extensively across major venues and festivals in Europe, the United States, and beyond, developing a voice defined by rhythmic layering, adaptability, and stylistic breadth within modern jazz practice.

Pianist Daniel Gassin brings a similarly international profile, with award recognition in Australia including finalist and nomination placements in major jazz competitions and songwriting awards, alongside extensive performance activity across Europe, Africa, and Asia. His work as both leader and sideman places him within a wide network of contemporary jazz collaborations, where harmonic sensitivity and improvisational clarity define his contribution.

Together with Brazilian percussionist Acelino de Paula, whose work is grounded in Afro-Brazilian rhythmic traditions and international performance experience, the trio forms a unified but flexible ensemble voice.
